Auto Transportation is made easy and stress-free with Innovative Ways Logistics.
Here is a detailed presentation of the whole process for you to know everything in advance.
Step 1: Request a Quote
The first step is to request a quote from us. You can fill in the application, write us by live chat, or just call us over the phone. You'll need to provide information such as your car model, the pickup and delivery locations, and the desired timeframe. Be sure to provide accurate information to ensure the quote is as accurate as possible. If your car is damaged or is not operable, please inform us about it in advance. We will respond to you within 30 minutes (see why we don’t offer an instant quote).
Step 2: Book Your Order
Once you've received a quote and decided to move forward with us, you'll need to book your order. This typically involves signing a contract, no deposit is needed. Make sure you understand all the terms and conditions of the contract before signing it. We are here to answer all your questions at this step.
Step 3: Preparation
Before your car is picked up, there are a few steps you'll need to take to prepare it for transport. This includes removing all personal items, ensuring the car is in good working condition, and making note of any existing damage. Personal items should be removed from the car to prevent them from getting damaged during transport or causing damage to the car. Also, make sure the gas tank is only filled up to one-quarter.
Step 4: Pickup
On the day of pickup, a carrier will come to your location to load your car onto their truck. You or your representative will need to be present to sign some paperwork, inspect the car with the driver, and hand over the keys. Make sure to inspect the car with the driver and sign the Bill Of Lading.
Step 5: Transit
Your car will then be transported to the delivery location. The amount of time this takes will depend on the distance between the pickup and delivery locations. You will receive regular updates on the status of your shipment, so you always know where your car is in transit. Beside, you can contact your assigned pro adviser in case of any questions during the transit.
Step 6: Delivery
Once your car arrives at the delivery location, the carrier will unload it from the truck. You or your representative needs to be present to make sure to carefully inspect the car for any new damage that may have occurred during transport. If you notice any damage, be sure to document it and notify us right away. Once you're satisfied with the condition of the car, sign the Bill Of Lading again and take possession of your vehicle.
